Your rent

Your rent is due every month and should be paid in advance on or before the 1st of the month.

We use the money we collect to provide services such as repairs and improvements to your home.

Direct Debit

You can pay by credit or debit card over the phone. Make sure you have your allpay reference number to hand.

Online

Pay online using either a debit or credit card on the allpay website. Make sure you have a note of your allpay reference number. Remember to quote your name and reference number with each payment.

Standing order

This is arranged directly with your bank so that payment is taken directly from your bank account. We can provide you with a form which is returned to your bank to set it up.

Don't ignore rent arrears

If you find yourself falling behind with your rent, it’s important you work with us to deal with the situation.

Remember paying your rent is not an option - it is a condition of your tenancy agreement that you pay your rent on time. Even if you receive Housing Benefit to cover all or part of your rent, it is still your responsibility to make sure it is paid to us.

If you are in arrears, don't:

Ignore the problem.

Ignore our letters or telephone calls regarding rent arrears.

Borrow money from door-to-door or payday lenders.

Legal action and eviction

Paying the rent must be a priority for your budget. If rent arrears build up and you break arrangements to repay them we will take legal action against you.

This may lead to your eviction, but only as a last resort. We will do all we can to help you, and give you advice and information. You must keep in contact with us and tell us what you will do to repay the arrears.
